Plumbing & Drainage Inspection Reports:

A comprehensive written report will be provided which will outline the rectification of issues arising:

  • Roof structure, design, construction integrity and operation
  • Roof junctions, penetrations etc
  • Flashings, upstand sealing and protection
  • Guttering pitch and egress
  • Box guttering underflashing, seams, gussets
  • Stormwater dispersement from roof, rainheads

Sub Floor Inspection Reports:
If environmental dampness is present under the floor in the property there may be several adverse consequences arising... The presence of damp may be contributing to internal condensation and mould... The presence of damp may be causing damage to the sub-floor support timbers.

For cases of complex undiagnosed dampness under a structure we normally recommend a sub-floor inspection report to identify the various moisture penetration problems that are adversely affecting the structure.

The variables associated with identifying the symptoms and the extent of the moisture penetration require a thorough assessment.

We recommend a sub-floor inspection report to identify, quantify and isolate the various moisture penetration problems that are leading to the symptoms observed.

The sub floor inspection will normally be carried out by a sub-floor access door. If no immediate access under the floor is available a penetration through the floor may need to be cut between joists, preferably under carpet or the like.
